Competition Level Descriptions, Entry Fees, & Online Registration

*“EarlyBird Rates” will be as much as 50% off the registration price listed below for online registrations (includes all skill classes).  Check back here, on social media, or thru certain organizations for promocodes.  These specials will run from the middle of June thru the middle of July!  

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE IN THE STORE! –click here (once completed you will receive an email confirmation and a few additional instructions with some paperwork to complete.  Paperwork can be brought with you to the event or we will have extras to complete the day of the event if needed.  Payment must be completed and received online in order to take advantage of any special offers or discounts.  Promocode for 50% savings on everything in the store is: NATRIALS  (offer will expire July 15th) any soft goods purchased will be available for pickup during onsite registration.)  If you decide to move up or down a class the day of the event and took advantage of a promocode, additional charges or refunds will be given based on the promocode used at the time of registration.  Promocodes will not apply the day of the event on any soft good/merchandise purchases.

**Awards, # of laps,  # of sections, and all rules and regulations are subject to change by North American Trials based primarily on venue and time.   

$15 – KID’S CLASS – courses are extremely miniaturized and geared towards young children.  Riders should be able to remain on their bike while maintaining fast and slow speeds.  Our goal is for each child to have a great time riding their bicycle with other kids their own age.  Kids will obtain a basic knowledge of trials, friendly competition, while learning trials competition rules.

$20 – MOUNTAIN BIKER CLASS – courses will simulate a small scale section of a moderately challenging mountain bike trail.  Tight turns, riding over/around smaller objects, skinny log/plank rides, and loose / choppy terrain are some features that you might expect in these courses.  Riders will gain a basic knowledge of trials, friendly competition, while learning trials competition rules.

  • 3 laps of 4 sections  or  2 laps of 5-6 sections

$60 – TECHNICAL MOUNTAIN BIKER CLASS – courses will simulate a short section of some highly difficult mountain bike trails.  Riders should be able to track stand and/or be able to navigate larger technical terrain.  A basic knowledge of trials is ideal to excel in this class.  Very tight turns, manipulating your bike over larger objects, long skinny log/plank rides, and riding calculated technical choppy terrain are what to expect in this class.  This class is typically a mixture of great technical mountain bikers and trials riders that have already learned various skills.

  • 3 laps of 4 sections  or  2 laps of 5-6 sections

$80 – OLD GUYS THAT RIDE – this class is for 30+ year old riders that have a highly proficient background in the sport of bike trials.  The old guys will ride a couple of the more challenging Tech Mtn Bike courses, a couple of the easier Expert courses, and also have a couple various lines of their own.

  • Entrants must be 30 years old or older
  • 2 laps of 6 sections
  • Medals for top 3 overall finishers
  • Other Awards TBD

$100 – EXPERT CLASS – this class is for riders that have a highly proficient background in the sport of bike trials.  Expert class features some of the up and coming Elite riders of the future!  Courses simulate extreme features and what most people would consider non-ride-able terrain.

  • 2 laps of 6 sections
  • Medals for top 3 overall finishers

$150 – ELITE / PRO CLASS – this class features the premier trials riders from all corners of our continent and the world!  Elite riders will compete over a 2 day event.  Highly technical / extreme courses will be setup for the semis to test the limits of these riders.  The abilities of the riders during the semis will dictate course alterations for the finals event the following day!

  • Semi-final: 2 laps of 6 sections
  • Final: 2 lap of 4-5 sections
  • Awards for top 3 overall finishers
  • Awards for top 3  20″ and top 3  24″/26″ (North American Finishers Only)
